SmARTs (Smithfield Monthly Arts Stroll)

No SmARTs Event in January!

Our artists and musicians are taking a brief intermission this month, but February's SmARTs event is "Downtown Smithfield's Chocolate Lover's Evening!

Second Friday of Each Month
in Historic Downtown Smithfield
5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Stroll through the shops of Historic Downtown Smithfield where you will view stunning art, listen to captivating music and enjoy adult beverages and a light bite to eat.
Participating merchants will be readily identified by the SmARTs banner displayed outside their shop. During warm weather, enjoy a free concert on the lawn at the Smithfield Times or indulge in a late dinner at one of our fine local restaurants any time of the year!

SmARTs is free & open to the arts loving public.

Visual or performing artists and authors, would you like to participate in SmARTS?

We'd love for you to join us! Consider...

  • There is currently no admission fee to participate in SmARTs.

  • Smithfield & Isle of Wight is a growing arts destination.

  • Despite rough economic times the number of tourists visiting town has increased 18% this past year!

  • Each SmARTs event offers you an evening in our beautiful downtown district, meeting and networking with other artists and reaching potential patrons.
